Frequently Asked Questions
A few helpful answers as you plan your ceremony.
Do you perform non-denominational ceremonies?
Yes. Ceremonies can be non-denominational and tailored to the tone and traditions you prefer.
Can we write our own vows?
Absolutely. You can write personal vows, use traditional wording, or choose something short and simple.
Do we need a marriage license?
Yes. In California, couples generally obtain a valid marriage license before the ceremony. The issuing county clerk can explain license requirements and deadlines.
Will you file our marriage license?
We will confirm the required signing and return process for your specific license before the ceremony. California marriage licenses generally must be returned by the officiant within 10 days after the ceremony.
Do you travel outside Los Angeles?
Travel within greater Los Angeles may be possible. Share your location when you inquire and I will confirm availability and any travel fee.
Is our date reserved when we submit an inquiry?
Not yet. An inquiry starts the conversation. Your date is only confirmed after we agree on the details and booking terms.
Do you attend rehearsals?
Rehearsals may be available by arrangement and would be quoted separately.
